Peaty’s Steel City race was without doubt one of the best weeks I’ve had on a bike in my life. I trucked up to Sheffield for a week of big mountain XC, downhill racing, dual racing and got a chance to meet some really nice people and hang out with my mountain bike heroes.
The Steel City Race was organised by the This is Sheffield crew as a fundraiser for Peaty’s local Greno Woods. Steve helped with the promo, the guys put on the event and heaps of people got behind it to make it a really, really good event. To add a bit of extra buzz, mtb video legend Alex Rankin filmed the event.
