James Webber is a talented photographer and graphic designer from Milton Keynes who will be showing off some of his work in the next issue of Wideopen. His latest project is a book called ‘Stoked.’, which has just gone live on the web for all to see.
James told us:
‘Stoked.’ is a book that I am currently producing for my final major project of my course.
The aim of the book is to show its readers the lifestyle and prowess of dirt jumps local to the spot of Woburn Sands. It features the likes of riders such as Matt Jones(identiti), Sam Anslow, Sam Pilgrim(NS bikes) and Lewis Richards(Slam 69).
The book is a collection of some of my favourite shots that I have taken at Woburn that I really think demonstrates the skills of these riders. The book was not only made to appeal to those who are aware of the sport but also to those unaware and to give them an insight into a sport they may not have seen before. Although the book is only currently online I will soon be getting a professionally produced hardcover copy very soon.”
