Sam Davies kind of appeared out of no where to us in 2010 and surprised us all with some awesome dirt jump pics of the Welsh crew around Swansea.
Since then we’ve been stoked to feature his work wherever we can and used a heap of his work in issue 13 and picked him as one of our favourite snappers of the year for Issue 14.
Throughout the season his shots have got better and he’s branched out to shoot some great videos and also add a bit of DH stuff to the mix. Here’s Sam’s 2010 photofolio. Keep sending us your stuff fella!

I like the way that young Sam is messing about with photos, layering and animating and all that kind of shiz.
Do more of it, become more inventive, don’t worry about getting your vids and images out the second the race has finished and polish it to perfection.
There’s a lot of ‘samey’ dross about in DH & 4X and I for one welcome a bit of thought process behind shooting and editing. If only I had a bit more time, faster rendering equipment and I wasn’t too busy skiing I would do it but I’m afraid it’s all down to you Sammy boy. You are the chosen one. And if you see Gibbins on your travels, please humiliate and and the very least, slap him (not hard as he likes that).
