Boom – our first drop of fresh kit of 2011 just landed! Troy Lee Designs and SRAM aint a bad way to start the year at all.
We’ll be dishing this stuff out to our team, making them thrash it hard all season and grilling them on how it copes. Stay tuned to issue 15 for an update. Here’s a quick look at what’s just landed:
2011 Troy Lee Designs GP Gloves. Solid, comfy and as bright as you’d expect from TLD! RRP £35.99

SRAM Pit-Stop grips. These feel great – they’re nice and soft without being overly thin. £14.99
AirAce Fit Tele M micro-pump. This thing is absolutely tiny, weighs nothing and is all aluminium but does a Transformers style act to turn into a pump twice its size. It even sports a flexi nozzle so you’ll avoid ripping your valve as you pump. I did that yesterday and it was ANNOYING. RRP £24.99
Another one from Airace – this time the super solid Infinity ST. This one is absolutely packed with features. A few highlights are a valve that auto-detects what ever tube type you use it on, an ‘air-bleeder’ for fine tuning pressure and that fact it is really bloomin’ stable. RRP £54.99
KAA-BOOM bike cleaner. Cool name, nice graphics and a nice bike bag full of cleaners, degreasers, brushes and oils. RRP £19.99
