The North Face have been part of a revolution recently, head down to your local high street and you’re guaranteed to spot a handful of people wearing a TNF jacket or down vest – long gone are the days when mountain gear was ugly and frowned on, its now experiencing a huge boom in popularity.
However often this can lead to brands diluting the range and focussing on fashion rather than form, but with what we’ve seen of the 2011 range, this isn’t the case with TNF.
First up is their Levada short, with nice 4-way stretch fabric, two deep pockets and a removable padded inner short.

Secondly is the Muddy Tracks tee, a technical tee which can be used as a mid layer in colder conditions. The material wicks away sweat and with a rear pocket to store your junk, ideal if you don’t fancy donning a race jersey or your favourite tshirt to ride in.

Last but by no means least, our favourite part of the range, the Muddy Tracks jacket. Constructed from HyVent fabric with a longer cut at the back, chest pocket and a rear pocket along with a nice brushed collar lining for comfort this jacket looks great and should keep the water off.

Check out The North Face for more details on their range, we’ll keep you up to date with availability and RRP’s when they are confirmed…

Nice Jacket – looks spot on… Stupid Q but have North Face always done bike kit?
Nope – last year they did a ‘testing the water’ range and are launching a full mens and womens range for 2011!
