Dialled Prince Albert Mark 2
I make absolutely no apologies for saying that I bloody love Dialled’s steel hard-nut hardtail Prince Albert frame. I’ve been riding one for about 2 years now and am not in the least bit interested in riding anything else. Imagine my delight then, when Dialled announced an all new lighter, tougher, CEN compliant version of the PA in Reynolds 725. The Mk2 PA is here for 2010 and we’ve got one to test.
I’ll be running this for pretty much every type of riding that I do short of full on DH… Check out the Dialled website here.
San Marco Dirty Saddles
San Marco have team up with the big dog Cedric Gracia to create this new line of freeride/DH/enduro saddles. There’s 4 models in the range…
Check out the full info on all of them right here.
KRK protection
KRK are just gearing up in the UK thanks to Dynamic Style’s Pete Fordham and have already hooked up dirt jump superstar Oscar Golding. We’ve got some of the very first sets of Marou knee pads and Skull elbow pads in the UK and are busy giving them a beasting. Good results so far… The knee pads proved themselves light, comfy and unsweaty at last weekend’s 12 hour endurance event at the Bristol Bike Fest. More here.
Quad Deuce FR brakes
Quad have finally managed to get their new design levers finished off and we’re super happy to see them.
We’ve been testing the previous incarnation of their brakes for a while now and been generally really happy with them – although felt the levers could be improved a wee bit. The new design looks set to do all that, with a great lever blade shape, loads of adjustment and loads of neat little techy features. Really looking forward to getting stuck into these! Quad’s site is here.
That’s all for now – remember – this is all just a quick first look at what we’re testing. We’ll follow all of this up with full write ups in Wideopen Magazine once we’re happy they’ve been properly tested. Stay tuned!
