MSC Bikes continues improving its components and this time they have made things even better with a new ultralight flat pedal. “Superflat” model has been modified being lighter. This way, they have disassociated themselves from any concurrence with an excellent pedal with regard to size, weight and quality. It has been designed to offer the best grip combining a U shape. The new pedal offers a huge surface to find the pedal quickly but being super thin and flat to avoid impacts on the ground, rocks, roots, etc. Their pins are a bit longer to offer more grip, using ALU7075 T6 in anodized red, easy to replace. MSC Bikes offers spare pins and axles as well. This super light weight has been gained thanks to a titanium axle, a magnesium body and CNC machined to refine a perfect finish, also reducing material in areas where the pedal suffers less. This way we achieve an unbeatable weight in its class of 268 grams! The pedal has been designed to race in any kind of competition. It has been used and tested by Mickael Pascal, the official MSC Bikes factory rider in the W.C. downhill series. This ultralight pedal has a retail price of 176.40 Euros.
MSC Bikes also offers the same pedal profile with Magnesium body and a chrome axle worked as well on CNC with a weight of 341 grams and a retail price of 108.00 Euros. There is another set of pedals offered with the same characteristics with Aluminium body and a chrome axle of 410 grams and a retail price of 96.00 Euros.

I think Aidan is correct. Wonder how many people will buy them when there are numerous people selling these direct for a third of the price!!!!
