Fabien Barel Day: Part 1

Mojo Trail Diary, Morocco | Part 1 Ft. Fabien Barel & Mark Weir from Eyesdown Films on Vimeo.

I’ve decided to call today Fabien Barel Day here at Wideopenmag.

It’s been just over a year since one of the nicest guys of our sport took retirement from racing and it’s safe to say I’ve definitely missed him this year in videos! His interviews and views on the track were amazing!

But Fab hasn’t put the bike away for good. He rides a lot of Enduro, and has competed in a load of events this year, including the Trans-Provence. He also does a lot of work for Mondraker in developing the bikes, which in my opinion is all you need to look for in a bike. If Fabien Barel has had input into the geometry, you know it’s going to go fast.

So numero uno of our Fabien Barel day is the first of the new series of Mojo Trail Diaries.
The team take a trip out to Morocco, a place that has loads of trails, and plenty of guided holiday companies to take you around them. A place that we’d definitely love to visit.
