Fabien Barel heads to the UK for Mondraker Gravity this weekend!

It’s only a few days to go until the first ever Mondraker Gravity Mountain Bike Rally, being held at the National Trust’s Holnicote Estate on Exmoor. The rally takes in four timed stages over two days, stage one taking place on Saturday afternoon, the remain stages taking place as part of a 30km loop around the hills of Exmoor which takes riders from the heights of Exmoor to the beaches of the Somerset coastline.

It’s not all about the riding though, with 247 magazine’s Aldo Vanucci (Plymouth’s 14th best DJ) and the legendary Hackney Globe Trotter taking to the decks all evening, a fun Nitelights eliminator afterdark, a free pint of Exmoor Ale for all riders (over18) and the Luff Bus in attendance cooking up their amazing homemade burgers and risotto it’s set to be a real festival of mountain biking to finish off the season in style.

Former World Champion downhill rider Fabien Barel is coming to help get proceedings underway, he’ll also be helping Silverfish UK launch the new range of Forward Geometry Mondraker Bikes to the UK. Mojo will be there helping with suspension set up and displaying the 2013 line up of Fox forks, shocks and seatposts. RWD brakes will be available all weekend to help with brake set up, they’ll also be giving a free set of pads to every rider, with an option to buy a second set for half price. Urge helmets have provided a huge pile of their Dirt Lids to use as prizes, we also have a set of Fox 34 forks for the 34th fastest rider on Stage 1 and a set of Fox 36s for the 36th Fastest rider on Stage Two.

As of today there’s only a few places left and we expect to get a full field of 300 riders which means there’ll be no entry on the day so get your online entry in ASAP if you plan to attend.
