Timed practice is always a funny one – it’s never a true premonition of what’s going to happen on race-day … but it is a good insight into who is riding fast and who’s hitting the weekend all guns blazing. It’s also interesting to see who is deliberately keeping their powder dry for qualies – a bit one being Sam Hill who came dead last and stopped a couple of times on the day down.
