The guys over at Singletrack mag are putting on an event with a bit of a difference this summer… the “Singletrack Classic Weekender”.
Set for the 4/5th July it’s apparently going to be a relaxed and fun event that’ll challenge peoples XC, downhill and trials skills. You pay 1 entry fee (a bargain £35) and then compete in all 3 disciplines. At the end of it all the winner will be the best ‘all-rounder’ of the bunch.
It’s all going on at Lee Quarry in Lancashire which is a great little trails centre that’s packed with fast, rocky and technical riding. Sounds like it might be a bit of a laugh.
So what do you guys think? Everyone’s trying out slightly different ways of racing at the moment (enduros, mini-dh etc) – could this be a winner? At only £35 an entry it’s not going to hurt to find out! Let us know if you’re going along…
