It occurred to us that the Wideopenmag website isn’t quite as full of Festive Cheer as it could be … We’re just so damn busy getting issue 17 ready we’ve not had time to get it spruced up! Time to sort that out!
Here’s the first in our new Festive feature ‘MTB Christmas Lists’… find out what our mates in the MTB world have got on their Santa lists for this year. We’ve asked for 5 items – no limits on how wild or wacky they might be!
First up we’ve got 4X main man Chris Roberts. Chris is the man behind the British4x series, Caersws Cup, Naked Racing team, DMR Pump Track Challenge and one of the faces driving the new 4X Pro Tour.
1) new 24-105 lens lens for my camera - Need a knock about every day lens that’s nice and sharp.
2) Short travel bike - My Session 88 has too much travel and the hard tail not enough, just need something to use for messing around on. Foes 4x is top of the list.
3) Whistler to build a 4X track - Need to an excuse to go there.
4) 10k for a bridge - So we can got back to Edinburgh for another urban downhill
5) Mice Pies - It’s Christmas!
