We’re always stoked to hear from Claire at Wideopen Magazine. Aside from being a super friendly, positive and talented individual she’s also full of great stories from the very top levels of mountain bike racing. Claire is a Canadian downhill champion, can mix it up with the guys in slopestyle and (until recently) raced for the Chain Reaction/Intense team.
2011 is a great year to follow Claire’s adventures and is a year of change for her and husband Chris Kovarik. She and Chris have taken the year out from World Cup racing to form ‘Kovarik Racing’ and to spend a bit more competing in the events that they want to take part in and focus on the things they enjoy. They’ve got an awesome line up of sponsors, are basing themselves out in Whistler and are set to have a great year.
