Jones, a 22 year-old athlete from Woburn, UK, has been riding mountain bikes professionally since finishing school four years ago.Matt Jones Marin Bikes Red Bull Freeride Mountain Bike World Tour Wideopenmag

After making a transition from racing to slopestyle, 2016 saw Matt at the forefront of his sport. Six trips to the podium and three first place finishes earned him a worldwide ranking of 12th in slopestyle. Matt’s goals for 2017 involve adding more trail riding to his repertoire. An emerging video star, he will be the focus of a Red Bull feature later this year.

“We’re incredibly fortunate to have signed a rider of Matt’s level,” says Chris Holmes, Brand Director at Marin. “Not only is Matt a super-talented athlete with a lot of momentum, but he also fits in greatly with the Marin story. He is an all-around genuine guy and a great person to work with. We can’t wait to see what we are able to accomplish with him this year.”Matt Jones Marin Bikes Red Bull Freeride Mountain Bike World Tour Wideopenmag
